A great radio man with an excellent show
Dave Carter not only has a smooth voice but asks great questions of his interesting guests. Listening to Dave is informative, fun and make me want to take a trip to the bayou!

Look forward to every new podcast from Dave!
Dave sounds like someone who lives a "normal" life. Many, many podcasts are coastal folks who sort of understand the kind of people who live here in flyover country but not really. Dave does.
Btw, the episode where he tells about not quite hearing what the lady in the next office was saying had me howling with laughter no matter how many times I backed up to hear it again. And then I played it for my very sober husband and he laughed out loud too. A gem!

Always interesting
Always enjoy Dave's take on things. Straightforward, clear-eyed, common sense approach to things, but always with a twinkle in the eye and good ear for a wry turn of phrase. You won't be disappointed!

A different perspective and a great show
I always look forward to this podcast. Dave is really intelligent and interviews interesting people for the show, bringing a different perspective from the standard podcast. For example, there was a great talk with a constitutional lawyer about the immigration issue and an interview with a doctor who had a completely different way of practicing medicine. Also, I remember a story of an older native American that absolutely made my hair stand on end. Give it a listen--you won't regret it.

Great voice for real folks
I think Dave is the voice of many Americans except his sounds great on the podcast.
