Dave sounds like someone who lives a "normal" life. Many, many podcasts are coastal folks who sort of understand the kind of people who live here in flyover country but not really. Dave does.

Btw, the episode where he tells about not quite hearing what the lady in the next office was saying had me howling with laughter no matter how many times I backed up to hear it again. And then I played it for my very sober husband and he laughed out loud too. A gem!
