Inaugural Dave's Dispatch!

March 2026 Edition (No Subscription Needed, this time)
Where Cranky Wit Meets Unfiltered Truth (and the Occasional Well-Aimed Rant)
Hey folks, Dave Carter here—your friendly neighborhood military vet, historian, ex-trucker, radio dinosaur, and part-time private eye turned podcast troublemaker. Welcome to this inaugural dispatch from The Dave Carter Show, the right-of-center oasis that serves up laughter, mischief, and zero-tolerance-for-BS commentary while the rest of the world drowns in polished nonsense.
This Week’s Episode: Incorruptible – Keith Gross Runs for Congress in Florida’s 2nd District
Fresh off the mic today! I sat down with Panama City native and self-made businessman Keith Gross, who’s throwing his hat in the ring for Florida’s 2nd Congressional District. Keith grew up in a single-parent home in the Panhandle, put himself through school the hard way, and built a successful career creating real jobs instead of just talking about them.
What makes him different? He’s self-funding his entire campaign and has pledged to donate his full congressional salary to charity. No donor puppet strings, no special-interest bribes, no “you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours” nonsense in Washington. As I told him on air (and I meant every word): it’s about bloody time someone in office actually puts the voters of the Second District ahead of the donor class. Keith’s platform is straight-shooter stuff—cut the wasteful spending, fight inflation like it owes you money, restore affordability for working families, and make doubly sure government sticks to its real job: protecting our lives and freedoms instead of letting D.C. micromanagers treat us like lab rats in their latest social experiment.
Last Week’s Must-Listen: Brian Rust – “Knock It Off!” Host Steps Up for Bay County
If you haven’t caught it yet, go back and listen to my conversation with my old radio buddy Brian Rust. The guy’s spent decades on the air telling people to knock it off… and now he’s running for Bay County Commissioner, District 4, because he’s fed up watching government move at a snail’s pace while real life races ahead. Workforce training, infrastructure that actually finishes on time and on budget, cutting red tape for small businesses, and making Spring Break family-friendly again instead of a drunken circus. Pure common-sense conservatism from a guy who’s lived it.
What’s Coming Next on davecartershow.com
- A behind-the-scenes peek at how the sausage (and the cranky rants) gets made.
- Big discounts on select merch in the Dave Carter Shop—because nothing says “I support no-BS radio” like a fresh t-shirt or mug.
- More episodes and more merchandise dropping regularly, plus a few surprises I’m not quite ready to spill yet.
In the meantime, hit the voicemail line on the site and let me hear what you really think (the crazier the better—I live for it). Drop me an email, leave a review on Spotify/Apple Podcasts, or shoot me a note on X @DBCarter1962. Don’t make me come looking for you… I’ve got a full tank of gas and a long list of slow drivers in the fast lane who already tested my patience this week.
Thanks for riding along, friends. Keep the feedback coming, keep laughing at the absurdity, and keep demanding better from the people we send to office.
Stay cranky, stay sharp,
Dave Carter
